VINCENT PARLATORE

I am Vincent Parlatore, and ​I am the Republican Candidate for Florida State Senate District 35.

Originally from Astoria, New York, I relocated to Pembroke Pines, Florida in 1980. My profession career includes over 20 years of service in the United States Air Force Reserve, ultimately retiring as a Master Sergeant. I continued my commitment to public service as a Deputy Sheriff with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Over two decades, he contributed significantly to his community, retiring with a legacy of dedication and professionalism. As a result of being a police officer, I pursued higher education with a focus on criminal justice, earning my Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. My career reflects a lifetime of dedicated public service and personal commitment.

Ensure that fire and police departments receive the necessary funding to operate effectively, including up-to-date equipment, training, and resources.

• Protect Our Children

Ensure the safety and security of children in both their schools and neighborhoods. Implement measures to safeguard their well-being.

• Lower Taxes

Advocate for the responsible use of taxpayer funds to maximize benefits for all citizens. Strive to lower taxes while ensuring effective and efficient government spending.

• Affordable Housing

Support the Sadowski Trust Fund and reform homeowner’s insurance to make housing more affordable. Promote realistic geological mapping to improve flood insurance practices.

• Combat Illegal Drugs

Enhance enforcement and increase efforts to arrest and prosecute drug dealers. Address the drug crisis with a robust strategy.

• Firearms Safety

Promote responsible firearm ownership, ensuring that firearms are secured from children and individuals with identified mental health issues. Address red flags promptly to prevent potential issues.

• Florida Retirement System

Advocate for a retirement system that adequately supports first responders and teachers, ensuring their financial security after years of service.

• Veterans Advocate

Serve and support veterans with the same dedication they showed in serving us. Focus on addressing their needs and providing the necessary resources and assistance.
